For years I thought my high pulse was just high. No doctor ever acted concerned, even when I told them 95 to 100 was a normal resting heart rate for me. I went in and complained about extreme fatigue, falling asleep at random times, and general mood issues that come with minimal sleep. They told me repeatedly, lose weight. I would try but the results wouldn't last and my fatigue never went away even after being on a sleep apnea machine and a 50 pounds loss. I went to Lee"s Summit Direct Medical Care and Dr. O explained why the fast pulse was such an issue.... not even a week after starting a beta blocker my fatigue has significantly diminished, my mood is up, and my resting heart rate was 62 today! Find a doctor that listens and that doesn't cater to insurance or pharmaceutical companies! No insurance, $70 a month, personalized care, can text my nurse or doctor directly.... best decision for my health! Check it out at

This is the most amazing doctors office. Doctor Ostrander cares so much about his patients and it really shows. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to get medical care.

Thanks for your interest. No. We have never closed our doors. We have been open continuously since 2016. Our website summitfamilycare.com has all the information about memberships. Prices are $69.95 monthly (ages 18 to 64). If over $99.95 monthly, if 65+. While there no contracts, we do desire long term relationships with our patients. For this reason, you can quit anytime, however if you desire to come back, there is a $200 re-enrollment fee. I hope this helps.
Hi Jon. Yes, we allow it. But you should know, while we are in strong unity with the CDC and 99% of physicians worldwide on the essential nature of vaccines, we do still allow our patients the freedom to abstain from vaccinations, if that is their desire and they are aware of the real risk. Their is no doubt that the current non-vax community is benefiting from the majority's compliance with vaccination. If the current trend continues, we will almost certainly return to the days of the 1950s where millions died or were crippled on an annual basis. For this reason, we do retain the right to change this rule in the unlikely event of a local epidemic. Also, if your child becomes Ill and we cannot tell what is wrong, you should be aware that we may require expensive testing to find out. But otherwise, the answer is yes.
