El Nopal is one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants! We go regularly and really appreciate the friendly and quick service! There’s always a table available because the restaurant is so large. We enjoy ordering the white queso dip…it is delicious! We always get the Steak Quesadillas. I have also ordered the Lunch Steak Fajitas. They were delicious and there was enough for both myself and my husband to each eat until satisfied. The meat is cooked well and the food comes out within 15-20 minutes without fail, every time. It’s a great environment for groups, as they have a large dining area to accommodate many tables pushed together. We would recommend El Nopal in Cold Spring to anyone looking for a yummy Mexican restaurant without the wait of a typical restaurant!

Quick, pleasant service. Comprehensive menu with specials. Full bar with Mexican beer. Low heat and regular salsa fresh.

Food is ok. The service was a lot faster than when they first opened. Update 4/12/22 the salsa is way better.

Very good. I like that the food wasn't smothered in cheese. Modelo pitchers for the win. House salsa actually had a little heat to it. Clean and very friendly service.
