The owner posts an insane sign on the door about how you should wear a mask because "It's not worth dying over" in his words. But if you buy a drink from the owner, you can take off your mask because COVID disappears when you sit down at the table to drink. Psychotic.

I don't know what it's like to be in the audience, but I performed there last week and the acoustics are great. Our group, The Ain't Misbehavin's, didn't even need to have a sound system. That was deluxe! By the response we got, they enjoyed the show. It's a new venue, and I would play there again in a heartbeat.

We had various programs and shows, some that were appropriate (even featuring) children and some that were not. Our final show in Gladstone was an Alzheimer’s research fundraiser on June 21st of this year.
The Groundhog Day Theater serves wine, cider, coolers, a couple of types of shots and mixed drinks, and, in addition to a few Canadian, Mexican, and low-priced domestics, almost every beer available in bottles from local Boulevard, KC Bier, and Crane brewing companies.
Rehearsals for the upcoming murder mystery were halted during the pandemic and the cast broke up. We hope to recast and begin rehearsals again Summer 2021.
