We need these classes & public transit brought TO US We are 35 miles from the nearest exercise/fitness ctrs. we have NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT, we are told our 3 county very remote rural location cannot get drivers for public transport but our huge metro kansas city neighbor 35 miles away gets KCAT BUSSES free service daily. same with Kansas busses--they seem to have excellent service--but missourians - especially cass county, drexel mo, people must drive/walk/bikr to kansas state line to get Miami co ks. bus service. our 100 population, extremely rural in thinking and community development, lies partly in miami co ks and in 2 missouri counties-- cass and bates co mo. cass co apparently does NOT HAVE FORWARD THINKING, caring authoritarians who want cass co to have public transit. We are told drivers in Missouri must go through intimidating, self-destructive tests to be qualified to drive.. Those who have in the past have been excellent, devoted, but either laid off/fired--the OATS bus headquartered in Harrisonville mo keeps many buses. sitting empty behind its office. In the past this hasn;t been true- 7, - 8 yrs ago I was contact for cass co--drexel mo--and we were given rides--medical/essential shopping once a month--but suddenly this is changed--maybe with the tight fisted, money mongering politicians

Throughout the United States, there are more auto traffic deaths (because med techs can't get to injured people)on country roads than on city streets and highways and some house numbers are obscured. . In 2015, the rate of deaths per 100 million vehicle miles traveled was 1.84 for rural roads, and just.71 for urban roads. Overall, 49 percent of crash deaths happened on rural roads, and 44 percent on urban roads. We need social and physical fitness classes & public transit brought TO US via public transportation. We are 35 miles from the nearest exercise/fitness/medical ctrs. We are told our 3-county-very remote, poorly educated, uninformed rural location cannot get drivers for public transport but our huge metro Kansas city neighbor 35 miles away gets KCAT BUSSES free service daily. same with Kansas busses--they seem to have excellent service--but missourians - especially cass county, drexel mo, people must drive/walk/bike to kansas state line to get Miami co ks. bus service
