Took delivery of our new Bennington last weekend. John and Melanie conducted a thorough inspection and walk around. Midwest Marine and Bennington exceeded all of our expectations, this day and age that is a very rare occurrence. Thank you Midwest Marine we won’t go anywhere else for our boating needs.

What a boat! We are enjoying our Bennington. With the ESP package, it truly feels more like driving a V-hull boat than I expected. I can even "feel" ripples as the "hull" crosses. And, in this time of record-high fuel prices, I can cruise at a wide range of speeds, getting 3.3 - 3.4 miles per gallon; in a craft that will comfortably carry 15 people! We also appreciate Bennington's beautiful, comfortable interiors. My sister said," I had no idea your pontoon was anything like this. I thought you had bought some metal thing!" Thank you, Bennington, and Yamaha!

Midwest marine is great! I go there for service on my boat. I feel like they have always provided excellent service. They have seasoned mechanics, capable of tackling a very wide variety and difficult boat issues. I am also pleased with the fair and honest pricing of their services. Rick provides excellent communication and gives updates on needed services. Thank you! We will come back!

Service scheduled and completed on time. All business personnel very easy to work with. I have referred others to this business based solely on my experiences.

Questions & Answers

I'm considering buying a '95 Ranger R70 Sport, rated for 130hp. It has a '95 Evinrude 115 Intruder. Is there a way to get more umph out of the 115, and would the gain be worth the expense? Upping it to 130-140?

An upgrade in power is going to cost you a pretty penny. A 115HP engine will run you approx. $10,000 and a 140 HP is approx. $12,000. The bad part is if you put a $10,000 engine on a $2,000 boat you still have a $2,000 boat. This is why not many people do not repower and find themselves a nice used boat for the price. I hope this helps and have a good day.
