My absolute favorite bookstore ever. It holds a special place in my memory, as I would visit here to browse many times during my childhood and teenage years. It's a cozy, calm place with plenty of books to choose from, as well as old videogames, comics/manga, vinyls (a surprisingly good selection), and other interesting things. Highly recommend, books are often *less* than half-price :)

This is the Crossroads branch of Half-priced books. Good selection of books from various genre. Layout reminds you of those old bookstores, where you go treasure hunting for finds. Very nice kids section. Quite a good collection of used movies (DVDs), music (CDs). Games (computer) as well. Like other half priced books stores, you can offload your used books for some fraction of money, which could be used to offset your purchases. Because this bookstore is located in the Crossroads mall, there are plenty of parking. It is also walking distance to the food court, and other stores in the same building.

Took my kiddo there to flip through some records and didn't have any luck finding soul/rnb/or old school hiphop or rap. Those genres didn't have sections at all. We eventually found one Sadé and two Jackson 5 albums- hoping there is more …

I think they will recycle regular magazines, unless you have collectible ones.
If they don't have it on hand they can order it from one of their many other stores across the US. I would also give them a call and they can fill you before you go. ~ hope this helps.
