The Bellevue Botanical Garden provides a wonderful escape into a beautifully kept wonderland of flowers, plants and trees. The care taken to maintain this garden boggles the mind. There are a huge variety of plant types, all organized logically. Everything is healthy and clean. Don't miss stopping by for a few minutes or a few hours. Well worth your time. The staff and volunteers who keep this garden in shape deserve kudos, as do the donors who help keep it solvent.

We were there early morning and it was almost perfect. A little chilly, a fair amount of mosquitoes and only a handful of others. I wish we'd have had more time to spend there. The house and store were closed but it was quiet and peaceful. The flowers were beautiful as well as the grounds. It was free and the bathrooms were heated and very clean. What a blessing to have in the heart of the Bellevue area.

What a great place to come for a garden stroll in Bellevue, WA. It’s a free admission garden, NO dogs are allowed. There is a small gift shop with various unique gifts. Clean restrooms and water fountain, there is a cute little coffee house/cafe in the middle of the gardens. This is one of my absolute favorite gardens to come for a stroll, so many different areas to explore. You can easily spend 1-2 hours here, bring a picnic and a book for a relaxing warm day. Enjoy!

This is a great place to visit with kids/family, especially in the summer. You can see an amazing variety of plants while walking through their trails. It has a Japanese garden as well. It is a great spot to spend the evening in peace amidst nature. There is a coffee shop and a gift store as well. The garden itself is free to visit, and has ample parking spots.

Yes, I saw people using them. Just be careful.
It doesn't have a playground. But there are plenty of grassy areas for kids to run around. And alot of things to see and learn about plants. The park with a playground however is right down the trail from the gardens. You can walk through the gardens to get to the park.
This is from FAQ section on the official website- Dogs and other pets are not permitted anywhere on Garden grounds. Service animals only are allowed in the Garden. Leashed pets are welcome in nearby Wilburton Hill Park and on the Lake-to-Lake Trail.
Yes, there is always something in bloom at the Garden. Hope you’ll stop by and have a look. We are open every day from dawn to dusk and admission is free.
The Garden closes every day at dusk. Today that would be about 8:45pm.
You can definitely bike to it, but not through it. There are bike racks out front.
I'm sorry, no. Our docent tours have been discontinued for now. We may resume limited tours in July, so if that will work please check back then.
If you are asking about Garden d’Lights, canceling this event was a very difficult decision for us. We considered a number of options for putting on the event this year, but none were determined to be feasible. This event is almost entirely volunteer-run and it is not practical or safe to ask our volunteers to manage crowds. We have every intention of returning in 2021. Please also watch our virtual Garden d”lights video on our website: https://bellevuebotanical.org/garden-dlights/. Best wishes. -Darcy, Bellevue Botanical Garden Society
Hi Amber, I’m sorry but Garden d’Lights has been canceled for this year due to the pandemic. This was a difficult decision, but was necessary to ensure the safety of our volunteers, staff, and visitors. We will return in 2021.
Only service dogs are allowed.
I don't see why not.. If you respect everything and don't make a ruckus... 🤷♂️
I’m sorry, we don’t. You can check this page of our website: https://bellevuebotanical.org/faq/ for some places in and around Bellevue where you can rent a wheelchair. Thanks.
Bathroom is open when garden is.
I think the garden is open to the public every day. The cafe and the store will probably be closed.
These answers aren't from the botanical garden, I think it's all Google reviews and guide input. I hope you were able to get your plant somewhere safe!
