The place is PACKED. Like I'm self conscious (like anyone would be), and it feels straight up claustrophobic if you come in busy times. There's barely any space to stretch. If you come at a time that's not busy, then it's amazing.

Staff is great, equipment is in great condition and is well maintained. Facility is always clean. The membership rates are very low. I highly recommend this gym.

I think for the most part, this'll be an effective training regime. Just keep in mind that the entire mindset and direction of the training is "aggressive". From the music to the actual structure. No time is given to form, it's all about reaching 'zones'. Also, come knowing how to exercise, the coach will show the group once and you're left to your own devices, and a TV showing some form of what you need to do. So you can do something completely incorrectly (potentially injuring yourself) and its great, as long as you reach the required 'zone'.. The classes are also huge, so don't expect 1-on-1 coaching. Our first class was a mixture of bewilderment and watching what other people do. Also, you'll be spending the majority of your time on the treadmill, so get ready to run, and run, and run. My wife enjoyed it, but I left about 3qrts through... the loud voice over the loud music over the anxiety of trying to keep up, was all a bit much for me. Some folks will love it, others (like me) will dislike immensely. It's had excellent equipment with outstanding cleanliness and front desk service.

Just started at ORF because my old gym closed after 17 years. I like OTF, I thought it would be boring with just three modes of exercise, but the intensity and variety of exercises, the addition of different upper body exercises is great, since by definition, rowing and treadmill are essentially leg exercises, adding upper body is key. I used to be a competitive cyclist, so intensity is really important. The staff is really easy to work with, they are extremely helpful and explain as needed. The app scheduling is a real game changer, so easy to find a workout wherever I am. Oh, and coach Serena Tedesco is so awesome, fun and motivating to work with. Haven't met the other coaches yet, I am sure they will also be great.

It’s our top priority to keep our staff and members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. As recommendations and data change rapidly, our Medical Advisory Board is working hard to ensure studios follow CDC guidance, in addition to state and local government guidance. We recommend contacting your local studio for more information.
If you’ve already been doing Orangetheory and become pregnant, check with your doctor first. Our heart rate monitoring is a perfect way to keep an eye on your intensity as you progress through your pregnancy. If you are a few months into your pregnancy and haven’t been doing any sort of fitness training, wait until after you have your baby and we can help get you back into shape!
Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to provide options for each exercise on the floor, in addition to offering a low-impact bike and strider alternative in place of the treadmill for lower body injuries or orthopedic restrictions.
Of course. Orangetheory is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.
Splat Points indicate minutes spent in the orange and red zones. Aim for 12 or more Splat Points per class.

Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full body workout, focused on training to build endurance, strength and power. We use heart rate-based interval training, which burns more calories post-workout than traditional exercise. When wearing our heart rate monitors, your real-time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels. To top it off, our fitness coaches lead the workout to prevent you from overtraining or undertraining.
OTbeat™ is our exclusive heart rate monitoring technology. Members have the unique experience of seeing real-time data during their workout, enabling them to push themselves to new limits. After class, they can then monitor their improvements through emailed results and by using the Orangetheory Fitness app.
Our rates and fees vary based on the studio, but your first workout is FREE. Contact your local studio to discuss pricing when you redeem your free workout!
