Weeks but feel super comfortable working out there. Great price for membership, great value.

Decent selection of equipment/machines, but there are some areas that could definitely use some improvement. The squat racks are extremely old and have awkward adjustment mechanisms (uses a bolt, instead of a hook which is way quicker). Barbells are also on their last legs. There's somehow only 2 incline benches in the main lifting area, and both of them are pretty terrible (both have no wheels, one is completely non-adjustable and other is not very adjustable). I think in general you could probably get rid of all the benches in the dumbbell area and just replace them with adjustable benches; would solve this issue completely. Wish there was a little more selection for legs (gym has 2 leg presses and 1 hack squat). All in all not bad compared to the commercial gyms in the area; I much prefer the atmosphere in this gym vs. somewhere like 425 fitness, but wish they would reinvest a bit more into equipment as it seems like many things haven't been touched for 20-30 years.

No nonsense, clean, friendly, and comfortable place. Has everything you need with no extra fluff. Best gym in the area by far!

Our family is really enjoying Iron Works Gym. It’s got everything you need to get a good lift in plus nicely maintained cardio equipment. The owner is friendly and we live the old school gym feel. Have only been going for a few Weeks but feel super comfortable working out there. Great price for membership, great value.

Mine was $35/month when I signed up last summer for the lowest cost membership. Think there was also a requirement to stay a member for at least 5 months to get the reduced rate
Cardio equipment, free weights, squat racks, weight machines, smith machines, cable cross, et cetera.
No, you don't need a trainer to workout. There are several who train their clients here, though.
