Every place has its stars and duds, this place isn't perfect but for what it is and what it's worth most of the staff seem dedicated to giving the clients what they need and are knowledgeable on how to talk to and treat a variety of characters individually. Recovery is not a 'one size fits all' suit and from what I experienced, everyone here tailors the experience to the individual. Not many programs can hold that reputation. Today was my first step onto a long road of recovery, but they made it easy to want to take on the challenge and made me feel that I would not be doing it alone. Manuela was even kind enough to help me find a facility closer to my home because I live almost two hours away from the facility, and they're not even affiliated with the clinic they found for me. They just wanted to help me get back on track and for the first time in a while I have hope in my future. Everyone at intake, the nurse and doctor included were all very friendly and welcoming.

I don’t think is right that someone that is trying to get better goes to the clinic to get medicated and they close the door right on their face just because they want to close it was literally 9:00 and they locked the door didn’t even care that I was a few seconds late because of Uber !!! Not only they left me feeling sick they didn’t care I paid for transportation and it was for nothing they are suppose to help and all they care about is living right on the dot not caring about someone’s health . One time I got there literally 8:30 and the nurse at the window told me I have to make it there earlier ! Excuse me?!you close at 9 and you are Telling me I have to be there earlier I’m 30 minutes before closing time. I don’t think the nurses really care this is just a pay check for them ! I would definitely start looking for a different facility I think they just care for collecting money that’s why they don’t want you getting of the medication. They don’t even do group sessions the Counselor doesn’t even see you and ask about how you are doing they don’t even introduce themselves like I said is just a paycheck and collecting money not a rehab center yo help you get better smh

Questions & Answers

Is it relatively easy to "guest dose"? I am planning a vacation from the Tampa Area to Miami Beach and need to find a guest clinic. Any info is appreciated immensely, you can imagine how much of a inconvenience this is!

With your clinic they should have the guest dosing and dates set up all prior to your visitation. If you're with the new season company in general or sister clinic of Broward treatment center like metro treatment center or others it's easier but I had to guest dose for a month prior to moving but make sure you have you're ID and records. The doctor is now here at this Clinic on Thursdays and every other Saturday but best recommendation is to arrange guest dosing with your counselor and then call Broward treatment center to confirm they received all your information. There is also a clinic on pompano beach and sunrise but I've never been to those and this one is the closest to Miami but honestly in the morning 20-30 min less if you're near 95. Monday through Friday open 5-10:30 for dosing. Sat and Sunday 6-8 or maybe 6-9** Edit The doctor days have changed but I would arrange the guest dosing w/ more then 1 days notice! Confirmation of days with CLINIC is CRUCIAL so it's a good process

Why is it today after 35+ years on methadone maintenance S. Florida is and continues to not use medical insurance? Speaking for myself, I find the prices too high

Susan - First, congratulations on your continued success at recovery! New Season has many options available to south Florida residents. We now accept United Health Care Commercial insurance and in many of the south Florida clinics we accept the following medicaid plans: state medicaid, United Health Care, United Health Care Prestige, Sunshine Health,Better Health and Humana Medicaid. In addition, many commercial insurance companies will reimburse you. It would be best to check at your home clinic for these options and see what works for you.

You should have a non-expired, valid photo ID. If you come in without one the tratment center may allow you to start, however you would probably need to get your ID updated within a few days.
