I rent from Sixt frequently around the world and the West Palm Beach location is absolutely the worst one that I have been to. There are no vehicles to chose from that would even fit two suitcases, the car smelled of pot and we had to drive for 4 days with the windows wide open, and the car was only delivered with 5/8 full gas tank (Imagine if you had to drive straight to a business meeting with a car in that condition)

Please verify that your employees are capable of reading an odometer and fuel gauge. "We're upgrading you to our latest SUV with 2,200 miles" 1. Car was falling apart with scratches everywhere, cracked windshield. 2. 22,000 miles* and interior smelled like rotting mushrooms. I refueled and returned the following day to switch to the car I originally wanted. Days later I am charged for a full refueling charge that I now have to go through the process of disputing with both of my refueling receipts. I had the 2 Series a few days, and refueled to the point it was splashing out of the fuel port (because the nextdoor gas station is trash too) If getting ripped off by your team is resolved, I may consider renting from SIXT in the future, but not until then.

I emailed them and got a voucher for a future rental, good for a year. Not happy about it but I did use it. Despite that, their staff in West Palm Beach airport are amazing! They wait for you if they know your flight and get you processed quickly.

Put it on a Credit card there is no particular price for a deposit for a 12 seater, your credit card will act as a deposit.

I had a deposit of $200 on my rental. The deposit is refunded once you have returned the car. You must have a credit card, no debit cards are accepted. The deposit is not actually charged to your card, but you must have available credit as it is held until your transaction is complete.
If you booked online directly with Sixt you very likely prepaid. To change the method after paying with any company would be a major correction. I would advise you try to resolve it with the rep you get. If they cant help you ask for a supervisor, Sixt takes care of their customers.
I'm sure if you call them they will make arrangements. SIXTH is very acommadating.
Yes, I know for a premium grade car like a Volvo, Mercedes, or BMW it's a 500.00 deposit
Never had an issue with pickup. Far Easier than at FLL.
