I was looking for a Telluride back in July of 2021 and came across Sussman kia. I was working with AJ who told me their turn around was 3-4 months. Since this was better than other time frames I had received I decided to place an order with them. Once I ordered, the communication was awful. Anytime I emailed him I wouldn't get an answer. When I called, and asked if there were any updates he would tell me he would have to get back to me and then never did. When I reached out in November for an update he told me it would be closer to 6 months. When I then reached out in January, he said it wouldn't be before March. I know that there were delays everywhere, but the lack of communication left a sour taste in my mouth. Also, this seemed liked a clear bait and switch / over promise under deliver. The only reason that I'm giving them 3 stars is because both Chuck and Jackie were a pleasure to speak with. Chuck is the general manager and when I wasn't able to get an answer from AJ I spoke to him directly and he was able to give me a more realistic timeframe of the car rather than the making up dates. Instead of telling me what I wanted to hear, he was completely honest and managed my expectations accordingly. When I followed up with him in January, he said realistically, I wouldn't be getting the car until May. I ended up canceling my order and speaking with Jackie who was able to help me out in a very timely manner. When she said she would get back to me, she actually did. If you do go to Sussman Kia I would recommend working with Jackie or Chuck as they seemed very responsive. I don't think AJ is there anymore, but if he is, I strong advise against working with him unless you want someone to take your money and not answer a single email or phone call.

I love my 2019 Kia Rio! However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. My reason for the 2 stars is the lack of caring about refunding me for having to pay out of pocket expenses while they held my car. I dropped my Kia off in late March 2022 to have it serviced (it was still under warranty), for one reason or another they had my car for just shy of a month(got it back sometime in April). During that time I was using Lyft to get back and forth to work (costing me almost $200). I have been asking for a refund of this money for months at this point with no response or being told someone would get back to me. I understand it wasn't a rental car, but I still had to pay money to get back and forth to work that I wouldn't normally have had to spend (one of my favorite things about this car is how little it cost to maintain). I kept getting the run around about when my car would be ready because they were waiting for a part to ship, it turns out the part was just never shipped (not delayed, not missing, not shipped to the wrong place, just never pulled from the shelf in the Georgia warehouse and shipped to Jenkintown). The people were great, but being out of $200 has really hurt and I would hope Kia would reimburse me because none of this was my fault (including the reason the car had to go into the shop in the first place). Please rectify.
