Thanks for the question, Fred! Clean green waste is accepted at the South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station for $49.00 a ton. More information on green waste can be found here: http://www.countyofsb.org/pwd/southcoast.sbc. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Hello, Philip! Yes, mattresses are accepted at the South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station. Residents can take up to five (5) residentially-generated units for free. Thanks for reaching out!
Hi, Anne. No, we're not able to accept paint at the South Coast Recycling and Transfer Station. There are numerous paint stores, as well as the County's Community Hazardous Waste Collection Center at UCSB and MarBorg's "ABOP" program, that will accept paint. Locations can be found on our website here: http://lessismore.org/materials/83-oil-based-paint/. Thank you for checking!
Yes
I don't understand your question .
Yes you can! They will be charged at the garbage rate. If the load is less than 60lbs it will be 10$ other wise the minimum is 27$ for up to 500lbs.
Garbage rate. $10 up to 60lbs, otherwise it's $27 for up to 500lbs. Over that is the tonnage rate of $101 per ton, pro-rated.
They accept empty propane tanks, only as long as the valve has been removed.
Lead acid car batteries only. Marborg in Goleta takes household batteries, UCSB on the weekends, or Ziplock baggie them and put them on top of the recycle bin.
I tink Like 10 dollars On goleta
