My 4 years old son has been coming to the swimming lessons here for one year and we have great experience: the teachers are relatively stable, they know the students by name and their skill levels, comparing to other private facilities where the teachers are constantly coming and going; Brian is amazing, very responsive and patient with parents inquiries. I have been a member of this ymca branch since 2010 and started working there in 2014. Let me say - this branch has severely gone downhill. Membership rates increased yet the facility continues to decline. For example I was recently rehired into aquatics and the pools are filthy! They’re filled with old used bandaids and trash. Also some of the front desk staff are just downright rude and talk nasty to you for no reason. Michael and Brian are the aquatics “directors” yet they do nothing to support their staff but sit in their office all day. I worked as a lifeguard for 3 days there before I quit. There’s no structure or support from management at all. The only great thing about this branch is the location and the variety of lack luster amenities and services they provide
