The scenic drive was exhilarating, because I love the back and forth turns. My family however has gotten car sick before on this road. The over looks are great spots to stop off for some photos. Occasionally there are stops with park officials so if you ever need directions or help, you can stop of and they can give you some advice. Some of this road is semi remote and doesn’t have the best cell service.

Good route? Depends on your goal. If your goal is speed, then, no it isn't a good route due to some visitors taking it really slow (can't blame them). If your goal is to take in the scenery and be able to stop at some awesome overlooks, then yes it is a great route.
