On the way to the Keys? Make a stop and take the tour! You learn so much. Not just gorgeous to see coral rocks. If you are an engineer go and look. If you are a visitor, do not skip this. Check their times for opening.

It's not a big space, the tour lasts 1h, and it includes a video. The guide tells the story of the construction of the Castle.
Teresa D'Avino
As always it is astonishing and mind-blowing to see what this 5 foot, 100 pound man accomplished on his own all in the name of love! He was a genius with a 4th grade education.
Mason Thornburg
It is really cool but they are short staffed and we couldn't take our time to look around. We had to stay with the tour guide. Worth checking out if you come through Homestead.

Any idea when the Coral Castle will Re-Open? Will There Tours With Tour Guides When The Park Re-Opens?
The Coral Castle is made up of more than 1,000 tons of the sedimentary rock (oolite limestone) that was quarried and sculpted into a variety of shapes, including slab walls, tables, chairs, a crescent moon, a water fountain and a sundial.
Yes, although you won't be able to see the top of the tower, which has narrow steps. The rest is flat with concrete walkways
So we're is your castle? If anyone can do it then do one, make one even bigger. The fact is that it is there, and it is a business now and as it was then, the guide's are scripted as they are in Disneyland and Universal studios, we only went as visitors, and yes I am impressed with the patience of this person and the dedication wich is something I don't have. And if they are all lies then next time build something bigger so we can all see you hard work, your dedication and you sacrifice, so someone will say it's all lies and anyone can do it.

Awesome structure. Amazing engineering. Get a local to tell you the urban legends.
Hello Martin Good 🌄 Morning Im thinking it could be for a Couple of Reasons first Of all when I was there as a young girl it had already been there quite awhile Im thinking they may have had too touch it up some too keep it up too safety standards for the Public ect. And or because of the Covid. But Hopefully it will open soon and if so U should DEFINITELY go there I can Still remember it pretty well and this was years ago YES ITS A VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL/ PEACEFUL AND AMAZEING PLACE. And it too think that One man built it for His One True Love.
The way it was created and built, you just have to feel for yourself. The story and history and their meaning is amazing. Worth the trip.
Coral Castle does allow dogs with some restrictions. Please call 305-248-6345.
People have their theories, but there's a story about how some teens/kids snuck in and saw him moving them with some home made equipment and he was doing it by himself. He always had a black box on the equipment he used. The man that created it said he knew the secrets of how the pyramids were made and that's how and why he built the structures.
He was an incredible man to have been so short and loved so deeply that gave him the wisdom to make and move limestone that weighed tons with only tools of that time when engineers with modern tools could not accomplish . All because he loved a girl who was 16 but from a different social classe so her parents forbade the marriage .... so he left Latvia
Yes
I have Ed's books and have read Tesla's books and they have many simular theories on life and virtue along with properties of the atom which is not taught. I can't help to think that they did know eachother. They believed in the betterment of mankind by selective breeding and although Tesla a little bit older traveled to NY and Colorado in early 1900 Ed traveled throughout the west coast and Midwest before settling in Florida. I must add these stones did not originate here but had been moved when Ed found that he had not built Coral Castle in the most ideal location.
It's a castle made from heavy coral rocks and the guy who built it didn't reveal his secrets as to how he himself listed those heavy stones into its place. Just mysterious or Tesla technology.
No
When I was there it was closed. Google it first.
The security guard 2 days ago said it would be about 2 months when they reopen
🤔but you can still go to South Beach, boat ride out of bayshide and the Mall

Temporary closed. Improving the property to expand the guest experience and enjoyment with safety for both guests and staff.
It’s open
Yes there is but the grounds are closed due to the pandemic. Guard said it may reopen in a month or so.

Last time entrance was $20

Who knows. Things change daily down here. If people do not adhere to the CDC and WHO guidelines then it may never open. Everyone concerned with their rights and want to do what they want...Very selfish! You have no rights when something like this happens! The quicker we all pay attention and listen, the quicker we can move past this and reopen and stay open! Where are you from?
They are temporarily closed until further notice.
Miami-Dade County Emergency Order NO. 26-20

*Correction-yes this place is pet friendly per the Coral Castle owner. It looks like someone already posted that no they are not allowed but your dog is very cute. Hopefully he is able to adventure with you elsewhere. Safe travels!
Coral Castle is ADA compliant. You can bring your own wheelchair and walker if you need one
In Spain, maybe yes ... But in Miami - no, it stands out of the blue.
Marta I do not know what you say but that place does not have anything interesting and costs micho the total entrance for nothing
Parking is free but may fill up fast and they may have you park at the bank across the Street.
I went in November. Price for adult admission was $15 which included a guided tour (or three in my case). Also there is no time limit. I stayed for 4 hours. And you can join the following tour as well. Well worth it.
10 or 15 dollars
A little pricey but a once in a lifetime experience
