Was shocked to see one of the nice Japanese restaurants turn into a less than mediocre place post pandemic. The maki rolls tasted stale (tuna tasted like canned tuna). The cocktails tasted like syrup (we ordered martinis). The only thing bearable was the vegetarian clay pot curry. The wait staff looked extremely disinterested in serving. Highly not recommended.

I hosted my 70th birthday party at Samba and everyone in attendance loved it! The party took place on the deck under the arbor, which was lovely, despite the restaurant being right on Route 9. The food, wine, and specialty cocktail were very good and reasonably priced. Rose Consigli, the Event Manager, did a very good job helping me create the menu with lots of choices for my guests. She met me prior to the event for a food and wine tasting, which was very helpful in deciding what to serve. It was a nice party and several people who attended have gone back to the restaurant because the food was so good. I would recommend doing an event there in the future.

This restaurant was horrible I was recommended this place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, the chef was horrendous he cooked everything less than 5min the fried rice was undercooked and the egg was given to us raw mixed in then he tossed it on our plate, WHO does that.. the place was unsanitary there’s so many health code violations omg 😳 wait staff well they are there but mentioned there’s no manager or owner etc.. just so disappointing. I say stay away if you don’t want salmonella poisoning! Unhealthy!

Food was really good, vegetables very fresh and meats were cooked at individual order terms. Staff is very nice and polite, and the food show is quite entertaining, great to go in small groups.

Don't think that's on the menu
I've been bringing my kids which the youngest is 6, with no problem.
We each had a couple rolls and a couple drinks and spent like 60-70 bucks
You have to wear a mask, all staff are wearing mask, they are not sharing tables
It was still open and serving alcohol when I went 5 days ago
I spend usually around 100$ for 2 adults and 2 children
