I love going out and stopping having a drink with my friends and family here

It was a great afternoon getaway for me. Friendly people, quiet, and clean it check all the boxes for me. I even watched dolphins jumping, it was great

Always a good place for fishing. Plenty of nice size Sail Cats and more.

You can get some good exercise walking the bridge it's a beautiful place to see the launch from

Been fishing off of it !
Also Captain Hooks bait shop on the corner of Garden & Park Ave within about a mile. Right beside the Family Dollar & Good Thymes resturant.
Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier has a quite a variety of fish that you can catch. For the most part you have the highest chance of catching catfish and trout. Some times people will pull in other species but not as often. We see red fish every now and then as well.
You have to have a license for the fish you are targeting. If you want to catch sheepshead, you need a saltwater license. If you want bass, a freshwater license is required. Generally, I see more saltwater species here.
Yes, along with a restaurant.
No
Yes. Very good place. On the bridge may be better.
Yes its 24/7. It does not close. Only the restaurant close at a certain time. The bathroom is still accessible.
Restdirections due to the hurricane
Don't know ,would love to catch Blue Claws also but nowhere to get them in Florida
Not sure about now, but have in the past.
I don't see why not. They fish and shrimp there. Depends what's running.
You can get a free fishing license.
free to fish. You have to bring your reels.
Yes
Yes it is still open. They have not done anything with the south Pier since the hurricane. The north side is open and good condition. Wouldn't take much to open the south side but they already spent the $2.5 million on personal projects.
Seems to be under construction, was there a few days ago and noticed the same thing
Don't know which is which. As you face it the one on the left is open the one on the right is closed due to damage from hurricane Irma.
It's the Indian River.
Thank you. But the pier is open all night right?
Half of it was open the last time I visited there. The other half was closed due to hurricane damage.
Is it still under construction the right side? Thanks
