3rd Update: The course is in great shape, and the clubhouse and veranda are complete and own for business. I recommend Towhee to everyone. It is a great place to enjoy a round of golf and afterwards go to the Birdsong Social Restaurant for a delicious meal and a beverage. 2nd Update: The course conditions continue to improve. The course is greening up beautifully for late spring and summer golf. The veranda and new clubhouse are not yet complete (typical TN construction project). But again, when they are complete, supposedly in June, the course will be complete and will be the best golf course in the area. Update: The course condition is absolutely great now. The only thing lacking is the completion of the new clubhouse and veranda. When they are complete. Towhee Club will be the best course in the Spring Hill area. It is really great to see Towhee becoming the course it deserves to be. I have been playing Kings Creek (now Towhee Club) on a regular basis since last May. If I was rating the course on condition alone, it would probably rate 4 stars. I feel that Kings Creek deserves a 5 star rating for a couple of reasons, and I will explain. Kings Creek has had a long history of change in ownership, and periods of neglect. I truly feel the current management is doing their very best to improve the course, and their hard work shows. Jason Langley and his maintenance crew have improved the course immensely in the past year. Is it where it should be to warrant my 5 star review strictly on condition? No it isn't, but it is a solid 4 star, and I have faith that Jason and his crew will continue to improve the course. If you haven't played the course in a long time, give Kings Creek another chance. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

Technically was not at Towhee club. Was at a home nearby. However the 3 star review is because the roads while in good repair, all had exposed higher than normal utility covers- could easily flatten a tire.

The course is beautiful BUT for the $80 price tag, you would think you would get some course perks like water coolers, trash cans and maybe something besides ice bags with ice for drinks. Some on the turn food would be nice so you can grab and go.

Good morning Paul, The course is under new ownership as of July 15. We are working diligently to bring the course back to its once greatness. We're not quite there yet, but will be soon. We'd love to have you visit again! Thanks!
The greens are coming along nicely... We're expecting to re-open late this month or early October. Thank you!
as temp rises the course is getting better as the fairways green up. Great layout.
Should be on their website.
