At the age of 8, I developed a fascination with RC Cars, specifically nitro cars. 22 years later, I have the money and a son to share the hobby with me. I came into Matt’s shop with a pretty low budget, and he steered me in the right direction for our first car. We spent about an hour together before I made a purchase that probably didn’t influence his bottom line very much. At no point did I feel dismissed or like I didn’t belong, which is what I expected. Matt definitely knows what he’s talking about, and you can tell that he cares about the spirit of the hobby scene. It’s one thing to run a business, it’s another to indulge a passion that also pays the bills. I did also compare his price for our first car against the online price from a couple of vendors. His price was the same as Amazon and the manufacturer of the car that I bought, Horizon.
