Somebody needs to look into this. The word is out from a builder in NC who informs there were arrangements between other builders and GUC to install units smaller than required for the square footage of homes built. This would force units to run more than average causing enormous hikes in monthly cost. Is this true?

Their workers apparently think it's okay to chain smoke while operating heavy machinery to dig up a gas line, risking a gas explosion and actively trying to endanger all of our lives and property. Beware of the workers they send out.

Called about my bill after living here for 2 weeks and basically got told to deal with these ridiculous prices. Wouldn't even send someone out to check my meter. I lived in Raleigh in a 2 bedroom and my bills were lower than this. Makes zero sense. Whoever I spoke to was unhelpful and rude. Maybe you all need to think about hiring people that can actually be helpful.

If you call them and explain your situation, they will usually work with you depending on who you talk to. If they deny it, go down and talk to someone in the office, they are usually more understanding and polite. But make sure you call before the cut off date, otherwise you're screwed.
How can they do that. I've heard of hospitals and the irs only doing that. Please explain how they can take my money. Normally you can't receive services or power until it's paid in full. This has really surprised me. I allowed a friend to put his services in my name then he let it get turned off for non pay. Then I contacted the irs and took the entire refund. Even more than what was owed. I can't believe it. Someone please explain this. They took literally 800 bucks for a 400$ or 500$ literally bill like 4 months past due that I didn't know he hadn't paid. Someone please message me back and help me comprehend this. Thank u so much

Hi Betty, higher bills are most likely due to colder temps, which cause increased energy usage. January was 38% colder than last January. December was 27% colder than last December and almost three times colder than November. While weather data is kept by calendar month, most utility bill cycles are not. So the bill you get in February probably includes dates in January and February. January bills likely include days in December and January. Called them after the automated system rejected me These guys here ain’t gonna give you extension for 6 WHOLE months —- they don’t care about your situation if there happens to be a returned check fee or transaction, here I am never had an extension a bill -first time requesting one -an now I cant get one because of a returned check fee , can’t pay half the balance to get extension or anything , ( this is how they punish you )not to mention if you try go to the drive thru and pay the bill they don’t accept credit or debit cards , CASH ONLY at the window ,will probably tell you it’s because of fraud prevention but the card I use has my face and name on it same as My state DL....,very very sloppy way of doing business, so yeah go ahead try and justify why you have this policy , go ahead and make up and gmail account and comment to make your business sound better , still ain’t away around it -just like ain’t a way around of payin of this overdue balance until the next week or so ,
Deposit has to do with credit and yes if you pay your bill on time for a year you can get your deposit back
