Kayak Launch. A kayak launch was added to Holden Beach Park. There are actually two launch points at the dock along the intercoastal waterway, beside the water tower. Unload at the end of Davis Street with parking along the side. Lots of boat and jet ski traffic during tourist season but there is a "No Wake Zone" here due to a boat launch and multiple marina and rental shops. Stay to the far side and be aware of boating activity. At high tide, there are some great marshes to explore heading west.

We played pickleball starting at 7:30 am. The court surface is nice but the nets are a mess. We had to rig the net to make it workable. The restrooms were locked.
