Pay to park with small signs..no area stating to pay to park..for out of towners that's been coming here for years and now get hit with a $25 dollar fine for not knowing to pay..

We enjoyed this beach day at Holden Beach. It rained this moring but turned out to be a nice day. Surprisingly not too many people for a Saturday. Water and waves were good. There are lots of shells on the beach closer to the water which is hard on the feet so bring auqua shoes 👞. If you like collecting shells you're going to love it. Parking is by digital app and is $3 an hour. Would come back if we are in the area.

It’s not too crowded or expensive, and has bathrooms!! It even sent me a text when it was almost time to go, which was great!
