I’ve been coming here religiously for a better part of the last two years. Each time I’m welcomed into the store and I take my time picking out the wood I need. The staff is kind to everyone and it felt nice having them go the extra mile by wrapping my purchase and helping me load it into my car. I’m 6’2 and capable of lifting what I bought but they offered anyways. The smaller cuts are highly overpriced but that’s expected anywhere. Great selection of all the things one would need getting into this as a new hobby. Well worth the long drive.

Staff was masked and there was a post outside the store asking that shoppers wear their masks while inside.

Agreed check woodcraft class schedule. Also tons of YouTube video on hand planes.
Tennessee woodturners Assoc will have their conference e d of January. The folk at Woodcraft in Franklin may know of other opportunities in the area. GreT folk. Very knowledgeable.
