We booked a shady RV site (#84) on the phone 3 weeks before our stay. Shade was important as we have 2 double-coated dogs and I have lupus with light sensitivity. We were assigned a spot in full sun on their front lawn (#5). I’m talking we were on the wrong side of the gated entry behind a shed. It was so far from all of the amenities it wasn’t practical to use them. I mean who wants to haul laundry down a driveway with a line of RVs checking in and through the entire park. The older blonde woman was rude and unprofessional. She tried to pass it off as an “upgrade” because it was next to the “lake” (btw there is no lake, it’s a pond) which I felt was both dishonest and insulting. The real kicker was that site #84 was vacant the whole time. My family and I never felt so unwelcome. It was such a bad experience that we left a day early (they did not offer to reimburse us).

I waited until the day after we left Rutledge to wite a review because I wanted to cool down a bit. I am hoping to be fair with my words and possibly helpful to the owners rather than hateful. I purposely made reservations here because the resort boasts a heated pool. We met family here for Memorial day and the pool was closed the entire weekend. I was extremely upset because not only were the kids disappointed, but I felt very inadequate with my family as they were all counting on me to find a place suitable for our needs. I am also very upset because I feel that if all your amenities weren't available for use, not only should you have let me know on the phone as we were booking, but also not charge people the full amount if you know you wont have an operating pool. That being said, the other amenities were very nice and the bathrooms were probably the cleanest I have ever seen in my years of camping. We will not return. I feel very cheated and taken advantage of.

My wife and I got married at Rutledge RV Park in April 2022. Both of our families parked RVs and we stayed in the cabins. Not only was it the most beautiful, well loved, convenient, and well equipped park; but the staff was equally amazing. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They were so excited for us to get married and it made our little camp site wedding a true dream come true. Thank you so much Rutledge Lake RV Resort. I will always be the biggest fan.

Our family loved this RV park. Incredibly nice lake front spot, new rock laid down, cute bridges, VERY nice bathrooms and free hot showers. Close to local hiking spots. They have a game/rec room for the kids to run around. Very nice playground and a kids train that goes around at 6pm. We didn't get to use the pool because we went in April. VERY nice staff and very fair pricing. Best part is there's a cute little deck to have your morning coffee on that overlooks the lake that's full of fish and beautiful ducks! The ducks are the main attraction here!

I was in the RV section so I cannot answer your questions. Call the office
Send them a good picture, if it looks good, they might accept.
No, I'm Sorry there is no swimming in the lake. We do have a swimming pool.
Negative sir. There are however a couple of cabins to rent
We have plenty of sites that that can accommodate a 33' fifth wheel RV.
We do not have any RV's that we rent. We have some cabins that we rent out weekly and nightly.
We do not offer day passes at this time. We do allow non-guests to fish for 3.00 per day. Thanks for your question
I'm paying 6000 yr + elec
It varies per season. Summer being more expensive than winter months. Some sites are more expensive or "luxurious" than others. I live here and love it here. Come check it out!
