Most of my experiences at this place have been negative solely based upon the enployees attitudes. Today I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the lady with terrible chest tattoos and an equally terrible attitude. As soon as the person in front of me was done I waited for her before approaching the counter. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow and a scowl. Gave me even more attitude when asked to repeat herself when I couldn't hear her over the other people there, its hard to hear her when she's speaking to everyone else having conversations. Im not her boyfriend, nor am I all the other men who hurt her, Im a customer and should be treated as such. Get another job you angry, bitter, damaged creature. You're like a pit bull, you shouldn't be around people.

Both of the ladies that worked behind the counter were friendly and quick. We are active duty military and just wanted to go ahead and pay the fees that can be waived so we could get our sticker that day. The lady that helped us said “Absolutely not”, and called the DMV we went through to register another vehicle to get proof we are active duty and get the fee waived. She went out of her way to help us and we appreciated it immensely! I wish I got her name so I could publicly thank her.

I recently moved to NC and went to register my vehicle using the Havelock office. The reason this office is so awful is they don’t work for the DMV. So they literally don’t care. Definitely worth going to New Bern. This office has 2 people working it’s super small and cramped once you get inside. I wanted to select the Army Veterans license plate and provided a DD214, my VA medical card and my NC drivers license that’s marked veteran. However that clearly doesn’t prove I’m a veteran and need to go to the VA and get a form filled out saying I really am a veteran.

Went today and there is a sign on the door that they are close yesterday,today and tomorrow due to a staffing shortage No indication on the website...waste of time and gas
