You will have to wait at least 10 minutes at the speaker with no one in front of you before they will even take your order. Once they decide to take your order, you’ll have to repeat it at least six times no matter how small it is for them to get it right. The food is usually fresh, but the service is absolutely terrible. They have also been out of every type of dessert for months which is very strange.

I started my experience at this Popeyes by pulling up as the 6th car in line at the drive-in. At this point it was 7:50pm. In the next 18 minutes, one car had their order taken. 3 of the 5 cars ahead of me left without ordering. I finally made it to the front of the line at 8:18. I thought about dining in but when I called to ask them if this was possible (after not answering on four previous phone call attempts during my 30 minutes tenor on line), on the fifth call they told me that the dining room is only open to doordash or Uber Eats. I sure hope the food is good, I've never waited 30 minutes in line in at a Drive-Thru before. I'm only thankful that three ahead of me cars gave up... Who knows how long it would have been until they I had taken my order. I finally received my food at 8:25 pm. When I checked my bag I was missing two biscuits I ordered but thankfully I checked before I pulled away. Thankfully the food was hot and very good. I live closer to the Popeye's on Ford Road by about a 10 minute and I opted to take an extra 10 minute ride because that Popeye's never has hot food and never has any type of seafood. The employees told me the reason for the delay was due to their shift change. At least they were pleasant about it but this seems excessive and crazy. This may have been the second negative review I've ever done out of maybe 20 total reviews so you have to have some pretty poor circumstances, service or food quality to receive a negative review from me.

If God didn’t want me to eat fast food anymore, He could of just said that! The longest wait I’ve ever experienced. I’m usually super patient because how short staffed the world is right now. But I waited 25 minutes in driver thru. I had a mobile order and it still took forever. I spent my entire lunch in line. 🥴🥴🥴 THEN they only had two drinks available. Of course the drink I decided on was super watery. THEN they didn’t have cocktail sauce for my shrimp.

Typically I love Popeyes. The spicy chicken tenders are so good. However, my husband went to this Popeyes today and they changed the chicken! They said they don’t have spicy chicken tenders anymore and they don’t even bread the chicken. It’s very clearly/ noticeably frozen chicken and very bland. Disgusting. I’m done with Popeyes. The chicken was the best part. Don’t waste your money.
