A beautiful building with palm trees and reflective glass, it almost seems to say "Do not enter" fo those who haven't been here before. Inside it's cool and spacious with spotlessly clean restrictions and areas to sit and relax while we browse visitors information pamphlet. The knowledgeable staff are friendly and helpful, and if you are a resident of Merced looking for a tough but good volunteer position, they can help you find which city council job would fit your abilities. Plenty of postings and all the minutes and decisions are posted right next to the elevators. Also, free vaccinations are done here on a rotating schedule so check it out in person or online.

These council members have no clue how to run a successful city! Instead of legalizing and supporting weed stores everywhere in the city, they should lower taxes for businesses. This will help the city grow, instead of feeding the poverty and crime that the city is infested with. Very narrow minded and clueless council members!

Will Trader Joes grocery store be coming to Merced?

Good morning Nina, as an active citizen in the civil government scene I can tell you that this is an often asked question. Trader Joe's like all other companies in the US perform very thorough due diligence of every community to establish whether they think they can make a profit from the local population. Unfortunately at this time we don't meet the metrics that many companies look for like population size, average age, discretionary income, etc for them to locate a store here. Hopefully we can grow to a size that supports their business model in the future.
