Is it not a bad nature trail in the suburbs. Not as big as heritage park but it has some small hill climbs and creek crossing that looks good during rainy season or winter. It is muddy after rain so wear proper shoes. Road noise from I696 is very loud, not sure how the turkey and ducks going to sleep 😴. Pretty good getaway compared to Warren, Southfield. They have nothing.

Great little park in the middle of the city, but you don’t feel like you’re in the city when walking/hiking around. Really quiet, easy trails to spend time and unwind, just an all round good time.

Roar of 696 freeway makes it hard to hear bird calls, but trails are well maintained, and good birding during spring migration. Saw 2 pileated woodpeckers among many other birds.

A little more than a flat terrain nature park and a little lighter than a hike, this nature walk in suburbia is an accessible getaway. While you can hear 696 throughout your experience, if you make a point to stay present there’s a lot to …

I would consider going to the Huron River in lower Huron Metropark, straight shot down to 75, West to Haggerty, then it's a mile or so South. There are some fishing piers, and plenty of other places to fish along the side of the river, good bass fishing
