Service was excellent. Unfortunately the menu wasn't. It suprised me that it did not include more traditional Mexican dishes, like fried mojarras (fish) grilled nopales, hand made tortillas, Cafe de la Olla, pan dulce. I order the fajitas de carne asada. Which did not come with bellpeppers ( even apple bees fajitas come with bell peppers so 🤔 😑) I asked for a side order of nopales which they only had a a tiny "salad" version 🤦🏽♀️ we asked for coffee and tea, which we were disappointed that no Cafe de la Olla and only lipton black tea was available 😱 seriously? With so many Mexican flavors that are out there it was really unfortunate that "El Torito" did not offered. Perhaps this is why it's not as busy as I remember it. It was the place to be! There were lines, waiting list. Specially today on Mexican independence day. It wasn't. A remodeling job is over due along with a new fresh traditional Mexican menu.

This restaurant is assigned seating, so you don’t just walk in and seat yourself the host will seat you. The wait is sometimes long, I got explained by a super polite employee that there’s reservations that have to be seated first, which is understandable because this place has amazing views and lots of customers. Overall I had a good experience and the food was great 👍🏼

Food was ok. Happy hour doesn’t extend to the restaurant which is just feet away. Staff is unfriendly and unresponsive. It’s like they’re afraid ICE will descend and second.
