Last year at this time my world was upside down. My 89 year old father (my rock, my firm foundation) was dying and I was his f/t care provider. Community Hospice was a godsend and a true lifesaver. They were not only there for him but me as well. I couldn’t have made it through that time without them. To this day they are still reaching out through mail to make sure I have access to resources if needed.

My Mother came home from the hospital 2 weeks before she left us on September 30, 2019. During those 2 weeks, your office staff, medical professionals and trained care givers helped me get through it all. Everyone was so understanding, loving, deeply caring and supportive of all our needs. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Not palliative care. Facko palliative care. They do nothing for me, absolutely nothing.This is after a year of pretending they actually cared about me Everything that's been done, I've done for myself. No pain relief, nothing. I guess I have to wait for hospice. I finally quit responding to their calls, I am so frustrated. When I told the so-called social worker I wanted to just die, she threatened to 5150 me. Their nurse, Bettina, spoke to In Home Supportive Services after they cut off my benefits, she told them I would not go into a board and care home or homeless shelter because of my dogs. Untrue. I have been unable to find affordable housing for 9 months, living in my car. All they give me are the same tired printouts that have "resources" that go nowhere. Useless and nothing but excuses.
