If you apply for welfare and are receiving child support, the state takes your child support and gives you a lower amount passing it off as assistance from welfare. Although child support is not paid out by the government. Child support comes from the absent parent and you even have to pay a fee to child support department for providing their "services". So why does the government take it and pass it off as cash assistance? Obviously people apply for assistance because the child support is not enough.

Yes, you can reapply without your ID. If you provided it previously when you applied they'll still have it on file. If not, they can actually help you get a new one at a reduced price.
Actually there is a program for single Moms. It is called the Arch Program. And your case worker will have to refer you to the special unit worker. If you are Homeless. Such as you have a 3 day notice or an eviction and you can not stay with friends and family and have no where to be stable. If you are homeless with a child I recommend the Gospel Mission or look into the Access Center on DST in Modesto for immediate shelter. Call your case worker and they will determine if you meet the criteria. The Arch Program also has a voucher you can utilize for a hotel. I think it may be up to 2 weeks. So good luck, try your best and God Bless your family.
Dont know if they have one but u can scan documents inside wo seeing a worker
I would call and talk to someone at the office
At the main office on Hackett rd there are kiosks on your right side as soon as you walk thru the doors. These kiosks allow for you to scan whatever documents you have and sends them to your worker.
You can also apply online. They will contact you for a phone interview. C4Youself.com
Yes
If you want to transfer your case to Stanislaus, you can contact your worker from the county your case is in to transfer it over, or you can come into the office to apply, apply online or over the phone. If you are transferring from Stanislaus to another, you can contact your worker to do the transfer. Hope this helps.
You would have to ask your worker because sometimes it barries because of you household income and family members too.
Faxing is not the best way to return your paperwork. If you're an applicant, you should have an individual workers email address that you can send it to...just take pictures of it. Email address should be on the paper that tells you what you need to provide. If you're a continuing customer you should have the email address to the Benefit Center that handles your case. 877-652-0734 is the main phone number if you need to speak to a worker. I hope that helps.
I dont thi k so, you can go online and see
I'm not work for the institution I'm a floor technician sorry
Actually, it depends on what you are applying for, as to what you must provide.
It depends on your worker.
Stanislaus County has the General Assistance program at the 251 E Hackett office in Modesto.
