Actually there is a program for single Moms. It is called the Arch Program. And your case worker will have to refer you to the special unit worker. If you are Homeless. Such as you have a 3 day notice or an eviction and you can not stay with friends and family and have no where to be stable. If you are homeless with a child I recommend the Gospel Mission or look into the Access Center on DST in Modesto for immediate shelter. Call your case worker and they will determine if you meet the criteria. The Arch Program also has a voucher you can utilize for a hotel. I think it may be up to 2 weeks.
