Seamless experience from beginning to end, it has been around 2 months since the surgery and I have had no issues with pilonidal since I went under the knife with Dr. Sternberg. It's an amazing experience to not have to worry about my backside bleeding or oozing ever again. Dr. Sternberg gave me my life back, and it was truly a breeze and without insurance it was really a decent value for what it entails. UPDATE: 10 months after the surgery. I feel normal again. It feels so good to be free of this terrible affliction. Having to deal with this nasty disease was the worst experience in my life. I wish I had done something sooner rather than to wait. My advice to people who have recurrent pilonidal; don't wait until your pilonidal grows bigger and bigger... because it does grow in size with each burst. See Dr. Sternberg. It's been 10 months since the surgery and I have had ZERO issues, zero recurrence at all.. the swelling is gone, it's still sort of numb there, but wow. I can sit for long periods of time again, go swimming without worrying of embarrassment or getting it infected. This was truly a life changing experience and I'm so glad I found Dr. Sternberg.
