One of my favorite places to book shop. Great prices on used books and they've got a huge selection!! A book-lover's paradise

I don’t like the laziness when you need help you can’t find no one on the floor and then it’s like the people behind the counter don’t want to check you out they try to wait each other out to see who will get up first I can clearly walk around the same book shelf five times and not one person will ask me if I need help 🙄 just cause it says 3 stars I’m really giving it 2.5

Can spend hours in this store. So many good books, records, toys/games. There is something here for everyone, and the staff is very friendly and helpful

This is my favorite bookstore/music/film in Newport News. I think it is mostly supposed to be a used book and record store but they sell a variety of new and used media products: video games, board games, musical instruments, pop culture t-shirts, and more. Their prices are always reasonable and sometimes surprisingly good (I've gotten a variety of collectible novels and games for super cheap here). Although my interactions with the staff has been brief, they are generally nice. But this needs to be said: one thing I really don't like about this place is how they always ask you subscribe to magazines at the register "for free." Sigh. It's so patronizing. Everyone knows that eventually a free magazine subscription becomes invoiced. So, it's not really free from a certain perspective. Even worse, instead of asking, "Would you like to subscribe to this or that magazine" they say, "And what magazine would you like to subscribe to today?" It's icky and uncool. This conplaint aside, this is a great place.

Their individual stores have different stocks, but I believe last time I was in, I saw some
I paid 10 bux. High as 20, low as 10 ish.... but well worth it!
You have to visit to truelly appreciate the amount of comics they have. Fan boy heaven.
Not sure you should give them a call.
I know they do have jigsaw puzzles.
The prices on buying is an always changing amount. It is based on condition, demand, and if they have a large stock of it available or not. That is something you just have to go and find out.
No it has to be working and in really good condition.
I buy a lot of movies abd there is no limit on anything
You need to call them directly, I believe I saw some but it was nearly a month ago
They might, I'd call the store to be sure
Cash or store credit but they only buy newer books from the past 2-5 years I believe; and the cash you get is like 10% of the value. You won't walk away with much cash but depending on what you have to sell you might make some money.
Yes
I have seen a zelda one in there and had a mario version in box. That was a month ago though.
They fluctuate what they buy based on demand. You will have to bring it in to get a definite answer.
It changes day to day depending on what they get in. You can always call and ask
They take newish nonfiction (2013+) and almost all fiction and children's books. But they don't take garbage. If you wouldn't pay money for a book you want to sell to them, they'll probably return it to you for unsellable condition.
If it has been published, come in or give me a call at the store and we can discuss the process. ~ General Manager
