Make sure you are only weighing yourself once a week. It is easy to weigh yourself more than once a week, and your body weight does not change that fast! If your weight is not changing on the scale, don’t be discouraged! Body fat loss is our main goal and that’s measured by a body fat measuring device that is built into your scale.
Body weight constantly fluctuates depending on water intake, hormones, stress, and travel. If you see incremental changes back and forth, there is nothing to worry about, everyone experiences the same thing!
Every workout is challenging; that’s when you see results. If they are starting to become easy then you need to add more weights, move a little faster, or change the resistance. Be sure to communicate these with your trainer as they will evaluate the situation and create a safe, incremental increase.
Our goal at Holly Roser Fitness is not to restrict your eating but to create a new lifestyle for you and your family. We work with you to create a specialized eating plan that will slowly eliminate the high calorie foods and create better eating habits. The meal plan can be as strict as you prefer, depending on how fast you want results, and can be combined with the Arbonne meal replacement shakes.
Seeing results varies from person to person, depending on how strictly you follow your personalized nutrition guidelines, and the number of workouts each week. Most clients are able to see results in as little as 2-3 weeks but everyone has smaller victories along the way whether it be pounds or body fat loss.
Eating something after your workout is just as important as eating before. Be sure to eat a high protein snack like almonds, fruits, or a protein bar to refuel and restore your body.
Pre-workout nutrition is extremely important to avoid a glucose drop. The best pre-workout food is toast and peanut butter or homemade oat bars to fuel your body.
Ideally, you should be training at least 3 times a week. To get the body you’ve always wanted, you should be working out at least 5 times a week with cardio intermixed into your routine.
If scheduling month-to-month, we require payments to be paid in full at least 24 hours in advance to your first session.
Because our schedule is on a first come first serve basis, the best way to secure specific days and times every month is to enroll for Subscribe and Save. This is a monthly automatic membership for your sessions and will secure the same days/times every month.
Each session is an hour. The first 5 minutes is your warmup and overall wellness update. The next 45 minutes are functional training moves packed with Holly’s signature boxing intervals. The final 5-10 minutes are dedicated to isolated core moves and stretching.
At Holly Roser Fitness you’re training with our expert trainers who are with you for every step on your fitness journey. In addition to personalized sessions, we provide personalized motivation through our Facebook group, and check-in calls/texts to keep you on track, group outings, and meal planning with fresh meal delivery.
