Once in a lifetime experience. From NYC and been to quite a few really good omakase restaurants. Yoshizumi blows those out of water. Every, single, piece of sushi is spectacular. Jealous of you Bay Area people!

Best sushi in the US - we have dined at so many omakase including a Michelin 3 star. Nobody else could create the same magical blend of taste and texture as Chef Yoshizumi does. It is not about the same formula of caviar/wagyu/uni/toro every other high quality omakase restaurants use. Chef Yoshizumi transforms the perhaps “common” ingredients into something totally phenomenal! A true master!

Amazing food and an absolute blast. Can't wait to come back!

Today, I met with friends to taste spring sushi and sashimi. This time the dishes have changed a lot, and I feel that the seasoning is more lively this time. This year, the average consumption of each person has been rising, but at Sushi Yoshizumi, every dish is outstanding, and every bite is pleasantly surprised. The one-Michelin-star Edo sushi is worth the money, and we will come again!

I think it says on the website, but each window is 30 mins
Hello Susan Rose, Thank you for your message. Actually we are even not sure when we can dine in restaurant since our restaurant is very tiny has only 9 counter bar seats, no tables at all. We have to figure out how to measure to have 6 feet social distance since nobody, even CDC doesn’t know what to with this kind of restaurants. And also we are not sure if we need to have plastic guard between Chef and customers and we are not sure about what to do with bathroom either. We are not sure so many things at this moment. Actually nobody know exactly what to do with this kind of restaurant. So we have to ask around other similar restaurants and have meeting with them. We are very sorry that we only can say these tings to you now. But once everything is clear and know what to do and ready to dine in, we will let everyone knows on our website and any other sources. So now we still continue to do take out through June. We are very sorry for the inconvenience for you.
Hello Andrea Ryner, Thank you very much for contacting Sushi Yoshizumi sushiya. We are sorry but we don’t have vegan menu. And our reservations are fully booked for next 30 days at this moment. We are very sorry for the inconvenience for you. Best Regards, sushi yoshizumi
Yoshizumi is different, there is no menu here, only two omakase options. Quality is amazing, since he only serves what is in season at the time.
