I went into Ulta and the store manager (Adrianna) did not know how to find a receipt of an item I bought in store from 10 days ago. I had to ask what the managers name was since she didn’t wear a badge either. Very rude, and on top of that she was training a new employee. How can you hire a manager that doesn’t how to find a receipt for any of the three products I brought in today? I then went and called the Colma Ulta location, they were able to locate it within a minute and were very professional as well. Does this Ulta not hire managers that are capable of dining simple orders? What’s you’re criteria for hiring a manager then at all if a simple task cannot be compel yet by Adrianna, the manager this morning? Such a hassle and waste of time.

Travel contractor on assignment in the Bay Area. It sucks to experience racism especially by Hispanics and cultures other than white. While shopping in the store, a heavy set hispanic/white male worker racially profiled myself and a friend while shopping. By the time we made it to the register, the cashier was so distracted by what was being discussed over her headset, that she asked for our telephone number 3 times. The store security guard was even posted outside of the store “on a call” as if he were in position stop us. It’s ridiculous and uncalled for. This is not the way to treat guess as I will not be returning back.

Stylist who did my hair required me to pull up a YouTube video on how to perform what I wanted (Hollywood vintage curls). My request was not achieved, and I felt like I ended up with a hairstyle that was something that I could have done myself and a waste of $90. The Ulta brochure explains the different possibilities for a formal hairstyle (Hollywood curls were mentioned in their brochure), and I wish the stylist was able to provide something that I was happy with. Makeup artist did a fair job, the time frame allotted and provided to me ahead of time took longer than expected, likely due to the fact that the hair stylist ran late. I had to rush out due to time constraints. Poor overall experience. I would not recommend unless you personally know the stylist.
