A classic for a reason — some of the dishes are a bit overpriced, but Chef Chu’s honestly seems like better value these days given inflation everywhere, especially at new restaurants. It also has one of the better Peking ducks in the area (remember to order ahead), and is one of the few that offers the traditional crepes with it upon request, not just mushu wraps

Food was super delicious. Best fried rice and vegetable spring role I ever ate. Restaurant is famous but still not very costly. Definitely one of best Chinese restaurant in bay area.

Open for lunch for sit down. Take out for dinner. This was a couple weeks ago. call to see if sit down dinner available

We're always pretty satisfied. We often get an appetizer and two main items per two people and usually have some leftovers.

They don't deliver but you can use DoorDash.
Yes, this restaurant is excellent popular and is very busy every day during that time. I highly recommend making a reservation.

Gluten free options are available. They also have gluten free soya sauce upon request. I don't think there is a gluten free section on the menu itself though.
