My new favorite restaurant in the Peninsula. Sort of a classic steakhouse with a California twist. I don’t eat red meat or carbs and there are still so many appealing options on the menu - trout, salmon, shrimp, kale salad, tabouleh salad, etc. At some point I will work the nerve to pay $18 for the omelette.

The bar is the best place to eat and talk..food is always great the Chicken Kale salad is a favorite..never cared much for Kale but this changes your mind. The Artichokes are great as well as the beef ribs

Yes, they will. Do it at least a week ahead of time if you want a table before like 8PM tho. L.A.G. is a great place and therefore very popular and crowded, especially later in the week (Wed - Sat). Hope you and your friends have a great time... I know you'll enjoy the food :-) I've been going there for almost 20 years (back when it was Bandera) and have _never_ had a bad meal there... Seriously.

Never seen a birthday cake there, but they do have a line dessert menu. For example an Oreo oie thing.
