To put it simply, from the ordering station to the register, I've received several micro-aggressions from our server that rubbed me the wrong way. My husband and I ordered protein plates with marketplace sides, and I accidentally mispronounced the pasta name, Gemelli. The server quickly corrected me with a condescending tone. My husband orders his food and proceeds toward the register. I observed how the server's tone and body language was towards him. It was definitely warmer than how she approached me. Even when ordering a drink, the server aimed her attention toward him and minimized any interaction with me. My husband requested a lemonade sample and it was handed to him. When I requested a lemonade sample, the server placed the sample on the counter on my husband's side. Due to the limited time that we had to eat and return home, I just asked my husband to pay for the meal and make a complaint later. For context, my husband is a white male and I identify as Black. Usually, I do not pick up on micro-aggressive behaviors, especially in a rush, but our server's tone and body language were quite evident. I felt irritated for not speaking up sooner, but I choose to combat inappropriate behaviors in a different way. I believe this is an ideal opportunity for training on how to treat your customer base, all or them.

Delicious and nutritious. Great place to eat after some fun on the beach. We tried a bowl, some drinks and dessert. Our favorites were the mango chicken bowl, lavender elderflower lemonade and blood orange hibiscus lemonade.Le’Toya, thank you for the 4 star review! We hope to see you again soon.
