DOL IS TRASH

This is a community outreach office. They have resources such as computers, printers, and sometimes training classes on how to build resumes or perform job searches as well as postings for civil service exams needed for state government related jobs. The staff in this office do not have any say about checks. Payment issues need to be handled by calling the completely understaffed call center in Albany. That is where the 1star reviews need to go.

Great staff. Extremely pleasant experience attending the mandatory classes. Lots of useful information for work and search options. My time spent here was during a very difficult period of time. Like the other review indicated, they really seem to genuinely care. Five stars.

You are best filing online. The regionally located career centers are to assist with searching. The other option is by phone, (888) 581-5812, however it is often difficult to reach them this way.

I wasn't very good at it. I'm sure if you go to the DOL, someone there can help you out with it.
