I've been living in Burnsville for a little over 8 months, near Nicollet and the BV Pkwy. I hear cars racing up and down both the BV Pkwy and Co. Rd. 13 just a few blocks away. Never hear police sirens. Are they all on break on Saturday nights? Sheesh!

Extremely positive experience with multiple Burnsville police officers after a theft incident. They arrived within minutes of calling and were very professional and caring. The Sargent who handled our case not only cared about the details of the incident, but also about our emotional well-being after a traumatic event. Thank you!

I've witnessed these police officers committing several traffic violations that if we the citizen had committed, would be arrested and/or fined. These violations include: parking on the sidewalk on 38 without emergency lights, speeding without emergency lights, parking on the grass in a blind spot right near the on-ramp of 13 and 101 without emergency lights, parking on the median on 42 near the Cub and Chik-fil-a without emergency lights, parking under the bridge of 13 and 5 in a dangerous blind spot without emergency lights. Burnsville PD displays on a regular basis that they are sovereign citizens who can do whatever they want. This type of behavior stems from poor leadership, and years of un-checked privileges.
