The initial side street location was a bit offputting, but the municipal [all day] parking really helps!

There are two ways. If the child is a student in the Alamance Public School system they they already have a card using their student ID/lunch number. If your child does not know their number, a staff member will be happy to look it up for you. If they are not an ABSS student, then they can can still get a card but their parent or legal guardian will need to also have a card.

Unfortunately there is not, but if you go to the reference desk, we have a list of the notary's in town with how much they cost. If you have a bank, we usually suggest you go there because they'll have a notary and it's usually free for you as a bank member. If not there, car dealerships will also have a notary. Thank you for your question!
It is still in progress. It is expected to begin running in 2019. However, our Mobile Cafe is running now.
The easiest way is to visit our catalog and search for the title you want to read. If it says eresource or downloadable then it is an ebook or eaudiobook, and the item will redirect you to the appropriate app or website. We use RBDigital, Axis360, and Libby (Overdrive) for our ematerials. You can create accounts for each of those to search and check out materials through the app. They all have the same check out period (3 weeks) and will return automatically unless you renew them. You can also place holds on items you want to read and the app will alert you when it becomes available. Just like our physical books.
