This location has a 2 person staff and runs mostly on volunteer hours.

Yes you can adopt dogs and cats, however all animals are kept in private foster homes, so no animals on site. You can arrange a meet and greet through their website.

Office hours are M-F 10 am until 2PM. It is always a good idea to call before making a trip to make sure someone will be in the office as they can occassional be pulled out of the office for animal related appointments and emergencies.

Anna, Animal Control typically requires that any pet, whether kept indoors or outdoors, have access to bowls of fresh food and water, daily, as proper shelter. Unfortunately, the law as it currently stands does not require much else. If you are concerned about an animal's welfare, we highly recommend that you contact your local Animal Control or Police Department to request an animal welfare check on behalf of that animal, just to be on the safe side.

Call Humane Society, they have days they set aside for spaying.
