Its Starbucks, consistentency in quality and customer care are the benchmarks the other guys are trying to mimic. Although I believe in supporting the family-owned coffee shop, I just spread it out and include Starbucks Coffee in the rotation. They provide benefits to staff, source local(ish) food that isn't able to be matched by the family establishments.
