So I needed to find a very specific screw that I needed for my scooter. The first store I went to told me to “leave my scooter by the door”. I was like Nah, no thank you. He kept insisting that “No one is going to take it” In the back of my mind, I was like Your right! easy for you to say. It was a Polk Street. No way in Hell I was going to leave my scooter unlocked and unattended by me. while I look for the parts that I need that can well take over 30mins or more. So I remember there was another hardware nearby called Brownies ace Hardware I met David at the front and I told him my situation with my scooter exposing to him I can’t leave it alone. He understood. So I asked very politely if he can get me what I needed, He was very nice to do so. Not only did he find the size of what I needed but was willing to help me install what I needed to install to my scooter. If you guys need some hardware I highly recommend David. A very nice guy and always ready to help. Thank you Maria and Kevin and the other gentleman I did not catch his name. They were all very nice at this location. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic local hardware store that has been in the neighborhood for over a hundred years!! They have a large inventory of items, I always find what I need. Very nice and knowledgeable staff, they know well their products.

I love this hardware store. Reminds me of the shops I used to go to with my grandpa as a little kid. It’s not like Home Depot - and that’s a good thing! You’ll always get a smile, direction, design inspo and tip when visiting this place.

Brownies carries most of what I need and I can usually find it on my own. If not, I can torn to a staff member for help. I can't always get it right away if they are helping other customers, but they're always on tap.
