Worked here for a few months before I had to relocate due to a family members health. Good people work here. Mr. Benny Combs is a good man. Caring and genuine. He owns the place but comes in and works hard like everyone else. So does his son. The HR manager is a good man as well. Very easy to talk too. It's a place you'll feel like you're more than a number. If you're looking for a good place to work this is it.

Yes, we sell 20 different Foothills brand country ham products. Those range from center and end hams, biscuit slices and sliced jowl to fatback and bacon. We do not handle any fresh cut meats, chicken or sausage products at this time though.

Our warehouse crew gets in around 1AM to start unloading delivery trucks. We have an open loading dock so it's first come first serve and if the dock is full we do have some room at the end of the parking lot to pull in until we can get other delivery trucks out of the way.
We are a produce wholesaler, not a retail location so I can't say exactly how that would compare. Here we do sell to the public, but we sell to customers in box lot quantities instead of per pound, per each, etc. We do have a number of retail customers we sell to though so if you are looking to buy in bulk then there are probably some savings to be had.
