Thanks to the Wendy Hicks and the Generosity of the Kate Reynolds Hospice facility staff. The Nurses and CNA staff took fabulous care of my Mother in her final days. Their warmth and caring made a world of difference in our transition with my Mother as well. I highly recommend the Kate Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care for your loved ones. My mother in law was a Trellis patient. They seemed great at first. They seemed caring and willing to help the family at first, but some staff made promises that they didn't keep. They also play family members against each other. They cultivated division within our family. It was very stressful dealing with her condition and they didn't help with that. In the end, she made it clear to her family she wanted to die at home, but she was not given that opportunity, Trellis put her in the hospice home, medicated her heavily, and refused to let her go home. Trellis tried to move her to a skilled nursing facility, but she was already at the end of life. The Kate B Reynolds building is beautiful. But what good is beauty without peace and harmony? I will never ever recommend Trellis, formerly Hospice, you can change the name, but the reputation will follow.

Most of the nursing staff and CNA’s were so loving and caring toward my mother. Shannon and Janie stand out in my mind as well as Teresa and Madelyn. My mother had a peaceful, loving end of life there. The staff was hospitable and always asking what they could do for us.
