What a great experience I had yesterday while attempting to pick up a package that had the wrong zip code. 27610 was accidentally entered for delivery, package was sent to this location. The agent was pleasant, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. She said she scanned ~250 "mis-delivered"(packages with incorrect addresses)the previous day but remembers scanning this one.(how can anyone remember that?) In less than 5 min she came with my package. Thank you!

This post office are a bunch of thieves. They will steal your mail, open letters they think might have money etc. we have caught them multiple times lying about delivering packages and have had envelopes disappear. Here is what I just pulled out of our LOCKED secured mailbox. A sympathy card for my girlfriend who’s father died. They must have thought there would be money and ripped it open. We have watched them literally toss packages or forget to lock secure package boxes as well. We’ve seen peoples mailbox left wide open unlocked too. Garbage.

It depends on the size. If you go to the USPS website it will give you information on price and sizes of boxes.

Have you reported these things. And yes in my area we have been having a lot of mail in wrong boxes so I agree they need to get more organized.
You can call your local post office. The clerk will ask if you have a tracking number and check the system You can take that tracking number to USPS.com and find for yourself. The friendly clerk will have more info. Hope this helps.
The bank or UPS store are the best places for notary services.
